The IMS girls will travel down to face Winfield-Mt.Union tonight in the regional semifinals.

IMS is coming off their win over Prince of Peace, while WMU had to beat Keota to get to this game.

IMS is 14-9, and scoring 45.7 points per game. They are shooting 37 percent from the field and just under 30 percent from behind the arc. Olivia Yutzy is the big player for IMS, with 18 points per game and a 49.5 percent shot from the floor. Riley Schmieder had a big game for IMS in their win over Prince of Peace, she comes in with 10 points per game, and Kristin Davis is a threat from outside with 9.5 points per game.

WMU comes into the game with Shelby Therme still out due to injury, but that didn’t seem to slow them down against Keota. They are 18-4, and are scoring 44.8 points per game, with a 33 percent shot from the field. Their leading scorer is Emily Mathews with 8.3 points per game, while Logan Hartsock comes in at the second position with seven points per game.

During the regular season, WMU beat IMS 39-37 in the first game, and 51-46 in overtime in the second game.
