Students at Washington High School are raising money to fight cancer today. The WHS Dance Marathon has organized a coaches vs. cancer event for today. Proceeds will go to Washington Relay for Life and Dance Marathon. Proceeds from the sectionals wrestling meet concessions will go to Coach Phil Long’s Relay for Life team.

McKenna Brinning says there will be a knock-out competition, a 3-point pledge, and a rubber duckt toss. Sophomore Shannon Powers adds following the varsity games the signed basketballs will be auctioned off and then there will be hair cuts for donations to Locks of Love.
