The Washington Demons girls basketball team will get in their makeup game with Keokuk from earlier this week tonight.

The Washington girls have six games remaining, and five of them are conference games, with two being Keokuk and two being Ft. Madison.

The Demons have not played since last week when they lost to Central Lee, and need this win to sit atop the Southeast Conference, but with the day off from school yesterday and an late start today, this game is starting to look like the setup of the game against Central Lee, in which Demon head coach Phil Long said his team was sleepy and off of their game and regular routine. The Demons are 10-5 and scoring 52 points per game, but their shooting is the troublesome area, hitting just a third of their shots from the field and 23 percent from behind the arc.

Grace Redlinger leads the way for the team with 14.5 points per game, followed by Dema Giardino with 9.1 and Stephanie Fishback with 8.3.

Keokuk is 12-4 this season, and hitting 39 percent of their shots from the field and 28 percent from downtown, while scoring 54 points per game. Personnel wise they are almost identical with the Demons, with Lakyn Boltz out top with 14 points per game, Trinity Jeffers with 9.1 points per game, and Paige Kayvan with 8.6. The two players that are different are MaKenzie Pezley and Kelsey Walters who come in as five and six shooters, and both have over 6.5 points per game.
