Washington County Public Health Nurse Lynn Fisher says it’s a good idea to know what diseases are common in countries you’re traveling to. She says just last summer, they worked with a local family that contracted Hepatitis A while visiting Mexico. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention website offers vaccine suggestions for specific countries.
