A group of WACO students recently joined forty other teams at a Lego League competition in Ottumwa. WACO’s Warrior Way Lego team competed at the state qualifier at Indian Hills Community College, and while they didn’t make it to state, they received a spirit award. Members of the team meet on the plus one Fridays, an optional day of school for WACO students. They’re led by Math Teacher Paul Kissell. Lego team’s from Keota and Sigourney also competed.
