Garbage pick up this week will change for Christmas Day in Washington. There will be no garbage pick up Wednesday, it will instead by collected on Thursday, along with the normal Thursday route. Also, there is no change for today or tomorrow’s pick up.

Year-long garbage stickers for residents of the City of Washington are available for purchase. The year stickers cost $85. City Clerk Illa Earnest states that the stickers are pro-rated for each month that passes. She adds they sell quite a few as gifts for those that are hard to shop for. The stickers can be purchased at City Hall.
