The WMU girls got the win against Highland to take the spot at second place.
The first half was where WMU got on top, leading 26-19 at the halftime break.
The Huskies couldn’t make any moves in the third, staying down seven 32-25, and then in the fourth quarter the Huskies tried to come back, but they could only pull within five and the 46-41 loss.
Highland was led by Kelsey Hora with 14 points, while Samantha Dutton added nine for the Huskies.
WMU goes to 6-1, while Highland falls to 5-2.
