Washington County and most counties in southeast Iowa have seen an increase in land values of more than 10% in the past year, according to the Iowa Land Value Survey, announced Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Washington County saw an increase of 10.69%. The average Iowa farmland value increased 5.1% from last year and is estimated to be $8,176 per acre. Washington County’s land value is $9,105.
