The Columbus Junction girl’s team took the loss to Pekin last night.
The Wildcats were down just three at the half, but the second half was all Pekin on their way to a 50-33 win.
Columbus Junction was outscored by Pekin 11-9, and 11-10 in the first half, and in the second half 13-5, and 15-9.
The leading scorer for the Wildcats was Claire Hamilton with 11 points, and behind her was Taylor Hills with nine and Martha Anaya with eight.
Columbus Junction falls to 1-4 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
