With the mercury dropping below zero degrees this week, remember to care for animals outside. Amber Talbot Director of PAWS and More Animal Shelter in Washington reminds people to take care of outdoor pets. She advises that straw is the best bedding, because a wet blanket can easily freeze and become hard. Also, she recommends heated water bowls.
Talbot invites the public to visit the shelter this weekend for their holiday open house and adoptathon.
