The Winfield-Mt.Union football team had three players make the all-district team.

On offense their quarterback Max Fricke was selected on first team, going 24-86 for 561 yards seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions, on the ground he had 653 yards and nine touchdowns. The other first teamer on offense was Kyle Davis on the offensive line.

On defense for the Wolves was Jake Edwards. Edwards had 35 tackles this season for WMU.

WMU head football coach Scott McCarty said these three players worked hard all season to earn this spot.

“As a team we are luck to have three guys on the all-district team, it’s well deserved for those young men and hopefully next year we can get a few more on there and compete a little better in the district,” McCarty said.

On second team for WMU was Sam Jennings and Taime Fenton.
