The Washington Demon boy’s soccer team beat Ft. Madison in round one of the sub-state tournament last night.

The Demons have not won a tournament game for a long time, but beat Ft. Madison 4-1 to move on to face Solon tonight.

Washington is now 3-8-1 on the season, and have some momentum facing Solon who is the top ranked team in the bracket with a 12-2-2 record, with 32 goals for and eight goals against.

That game will be at Solon tonight starting at 6:30 P.M.
