The solar panels at Iowa Mennonite School are up and running. The solar panel systems, on the east end of the campus’ parking lot, have passed their inspection and had their first full day of operation Wednesday. Dick Yoder-Short, the science teacher who led the solar project, says the harnessed energy will provide a quarter to a third of the school’s power.
