The Washington girl’s track team is looking to get some events to the Drake Relays, as they will host a meet at home tonight.

Events that Washington are looking to get to Drake, are Sammy Ellingson in the high jump who is currently sitting tied for fifth, and should be safely into the meet, while her teammate Lauren Kimball is tied for 37^th with 5’ even, but one jump could put her into the qualifying area.

The 4×100 meter relay team is sitting in 73^rd position, and needs to be in the top 80 to qualify,

The 4×800 meter relay team is sitting just out of the top 24, in 26^th. The Demons would need to cut about three seconds off of their time to safely qualify for Drake.

Washington is scheduled to hold a meet tonight in front of the home crowd with the boys. The meet starts at 4:15.
