The English River at Kalona has fallen below the flood stage.

As of 7 a.m. today, water was at 8.9 feet, a 3.8-foot drop in water level in the last 24 hours. It is forecast to be at 7.6 feet tomorrow. The river was at it’s highest on Thursday at 14.7 feet.
