There was an accident shortly after 7 a.m. yesterday on G36, northeast of Washington. The wreck caused traffic to temporarily come to a stand still in both the east and west lanes of the highway.
According to a report from the Washington County Sheriff, William Hiller of Washington and Desse Johnston of Washington were operating the vehicles. There was an estimated over $1,500 in damages.
Personnel at the Washington County Sheriff’s office stated that the two-vehicle accident is still under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
Washington County Sheriff, local first responders and the Iowa State Patrol responded to the collision.
