Winfield- Mt. Union had five different players nominated for post season awards.

On the first team all Southeast Iowa Superconference team Alicia Escher and Cassie Kingery received spots on the team.

Escher was second on the team in points scored on the year with 230 points, and added 155 rebounds and 51 steals on the year.

Kingery led the team in points with 314 on the year.

Head coach Mich Wachs said these girls were great leaders on the team, and will be hard to replace.

“Those kids, those two seniors deserve the accolades that they’ve received and [are] certainly two kids that I am going to miss a lot,” Wach said.

On the second team Shelby Therme was the only Wolf that made it. Therme had 207 points on the year with a team leading 159 rebounds and 31 blocks.

The WMU honorable mentions were Anna Crawford and Paige Breon.

WMU ended their season 18-6.
