For those looking ahead to spring, Daffodil Days may help you get through the last few months of winter. Every year the American Cancer Society holds this long standing flower sale fundraiser in Iowa. Keirsten Peck with American Cancer Society says their volunteers are out taking orders for the daffodils. She adds that this fundraiser helps support their programs, like Road to Recovery, Hope Lodge and the Cancer Hotline.
If you’d like to purchase some daffodils call 461-1102. The flowers are delivered from Washington State and are distributed from March 11th to the 15th.
