The end of this week is the end of the Washington School District’s logo contest. After being notified of a copyright violation with a university logo, the district gave up their previous demon-head logo. Now Superintendent Mike Jorgensen says more than fifty entries have been turned in for a new design. He says after an initial screening and narrowing of the options to ten, the student body in grades 6 to 12 will select the winner. Entries are due in to the district by 5 p.m. Friday.
