Public meetings have been set to gain input on proposed water quality standards.  The meetings will talk about designated use changes for a fourth batch of rivers and streams to help protect aquatic life and recreational uses.

Here in Washington, a meeting is being held at the Nicola-Stoufer Room of the Washington Public Library on Tuesday, November 27th from 3:00-6:00.

Those who can’t attend are welcome to submit written comments to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources by December 10th.
