The City of Wellman has approved a few applications for the upcoming Washington County Riverboat Foundation grant cycle.  The Council has approved an application for funds to go towards the proposed concession stand at North Park.

The Council also approved an application for a closed circuit security camera system at the Parkside Activities Center. City Administrator Nick Pacha says that the cameras would be used to monitor during and after business hours.

He says it would also be an asset for insurance purposes, an example being slip and fall protection.
