A jury has reached a verdict in the cases of possible election misconduct.  Charges against 56 year old Jack Seward of West Chester and 57 year old Robert Yoder of Kalona stemmed from the June primary races along with May and July campaign disclosure statements filed with the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board.

After trials were held this week, the jury found Seward not guilty of Unlawful Receipt of a Monetary or In-Kind Campaign Contribution from a Corporation on Tuesday and yesterday a jury found Yoder not guilty of one count of Unlawful Transfer of Campaign Funds.

They both tell KCII News that they would like to thank the support of their friends during their trials.
