A Washington resident has been awarded a special prize because of their community contributions. Chris Wells was selected to receive free fuel from a new program that rewards individuals who do good deeds to help make their community a little better.
Ann Mann from CHS Energy says people are doing good things every day in their local communities and those acts definitely do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. She says Wells was nominated for sheltering thousands of dogs, raising funds to assist foster animals and helping pets find permanent homes.
As a result, she received a $50 “Tanks of Thanks” gift card which can be used at a Cenex location. Mann notes this program runs all year and anyone can be nominated for any act of kindness.
