The Mid-Prairie Football team plays Central Lee-Donnellson tonight in district play.
The Golden Hawks are coming off a big win against Clear Creek Amana, and Austin Errthum’s 58 yard field goal.
Head coach Pete Cavanagh said this is a good back to back game as they are very similar.
“Well I mean just continue to move the offense along, and Central Lee runs a similar style of offense as Clear Creek, so for us it is kind of good to play them back to back,” Cavanagh said. “You just recognize their formations and what they strengths are, and being able to go up against a different type of defense.”
Mid-Prairie is 1-1 on the season, and have just 263 total yards, with 202 of them on the ground and just one touchdown total on the year.
Central Lee is 0-2 and has 575 total yards on the season and will attack through the air with 472 passing yards and just 149 rushing.
