WACO Community School District will hold an informational meeting on upcoming changes to their school calendar. The meeting will be held on the 4+1 school week for the 2013-2014 school year, which was recently approved by the State of Iowa.

In 2011 a committee was formed to look at the benefits and downfalls of a shortened school week and this summer the Board of Education gave the district approval to apply for a 4 day week.

The meeting begins tonight at 7 in the WACO High School gym and is open to everyone.
