The last few days of the Iowa State Fair were successful for area 4-H members. There were two winners in the Breeding Beef category. Three members performed well in the swine division and one member brought home an award for exhibiting sheep.
Having an item to be chosen for show at the State Fair is an honor says Amy Green, Washington County 4-H/Youth Coordinator. The state fair started on the ninth and wrapped up Sunday.
