Additional help is available for farmers seeking relief from the drought conditions.  Bill Bartenhagen, Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Executive Director in Washington County says more Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) acres can now be used by livestock for haying and grazing.

These acres require approval before haying the acreage can begin.  All haying activities need to be completed by the end of the month.  For more information, contact your local FSA office.
