The Demon football team will hold their football camp for high school students starting this Monday.

The camp will start the week with players from last years team as they will go to Simpson College for a full contact camp, before returning home on Wednesday for the rest of the camp for newcomers with helmets and short.

Head coach Randy Shrader said that although it is not the start of the preseason, it is still mandatory that anyone who wants to join the high school team, or is already on it shows up.

“It’s one of those things that our kids need to be involved in, we feel strongly, from staff standpoint, that our kids need to get involved in that and it just goes back to that philosophy of being all in and making things happen,” Shrader said. “We’ll hit the ground running Monday at Simpson and hopefully won’t look back until some time in November.”

Anyone who still wants to go out, but hasn’t signed up can show up at the football field on Wednesday at 3:30 and coach Shrader and his staff will get you signed up.
