Corn has been growing taller in area farm fields and many times it can create problems for drivers.Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius says here in Washington County tall corn is something to be concerned about and drivers need to use extra caution when approaching rural intersections.

He adds they work with farmers to try and avoid having corn planted in right of way areas.  Thorius says if a driver should encounter a location where visibility is limited because of tall corn to contact his office.
