A local bank will hold a reception for the Mid-Prairie team going to state. Hills Bank and Trust Company will hold a supper for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks softball team and their parents to celebrate their trip to state.

Kris Kaalberg with Hills Bank says this also gives those involved a chance to plan a pep-rally and prepare themselves for the upcoming tournament.

This is something that the bank and its branches do for their local teams when they make it to state. The reception is being held tonight at the Kalona branch.
