The public is being asked to use caution tonight as painting work is performed in downtown Washington.  The work is set to begin at 8:00 tonight and scheduled to be completed by 2:00 tomorrow morning.

Washington Maintenance and Construction Superintendent JJ Bell says the parking lanes are being repainted around the square.  Anyone with questions can contact the city Maintenance and Construction Department.
