With a 15-5 record in the regular season, the season came to an end last night for IMS. In a double OT corner kick with the wind, Albia put one in past senior keeper Ben Brennemen to win the game and move onto the next round. Head coach Marcus Miller said it is a tough loss to take and harder to think about the great season with this loss, but that once they can get over the sub-state loss they can focus on how well the season went.

The 2-1 loss is especially hard for the seniors who will be leaving which coach Miller said he would miss. He said that he and the team will miss Brennemen as it is hard to loss a goaltender that the team trusts behind them.

IMS had three first team all conference members in Levi Schrock, Tommy Rhodes and Ben Brenneman, and one second team with Chris Perez.
