Mark Baker, Wellman’s City Administrator, has been put on paid administrative leave until the Wellman City Council meets on Monday according to Donna Wade, City Clerk of Wellman. They had a special closed session Wednesday night to address his arrest on Tuesday for shoplifting at Freeman Foods. Baker has only been the City Administrator for a short time, since October.
