Construction has been halted at 330th St. about 7 miles southwest of Crawfordsville. The road has been under construction for regrading and surface work since November 11th. Delong Construction worked on the road for as long as weather allowed and the road work has been postponed until next spring. The cold temperatures meant that the ground was freezing and not drying as fast, making the work impossible to finish. Assistant County Engineer Jacob Thorius says he agrees with the decision, and they should have a better finished product if they wait until next spring.
