Red Ribbon Week started yesterday at Mid-Prairie Middle School. Red Ribbon week is a drug prevention program held by different locations across the country. Kelly Jo Galiher, the student advocate for Mid-Prairie Schools, tells us that Mid-Prairie Middle School will have a different theme for students each day of the week.

Today’s theme is “Drugs Turn You Inside Out” where students should wear clothing inside out. Wednesday’s theme is “We CAN be Drug Free” which will be a canned food drive.

Thursday’s is “Team Up Against Drugs”, wear your favorite team shirt for that one. And Friday’s theme is simply “Drug Free Schools”. Wear Black and Gold for that theme.
