The Iowa Utilities Board says now is the best time to weatherize your home to get ready for the winter with low-cost air leak solutions such as caulk and weather-stripping materials.  Alliant Energy Spokesman Justin Foss says gas heating customers can qualify for a free home energy audit to examine insulation levels and others ways to save money this winter.  Foss also recommends having your furnace inspected.  For more home weatherization tips, visit the link here.
