Two area county organizations have been awarded grant money to assist in the development and improvement of communities.  The Iowa Economic Development Authority announced the Keokuk County Community Endowment Foundation and the Community Foundation of Louisa County will both receive $118,000 to disperse to cities in those counties.

The grants are part of the state’s County Endowment Fund Program, which go to promoting economic growth in small towns.
