The youth pedal pull is always an entertaining event at the Iowa State Fair, and several local participants went the distance in their age groups.  In the boys division, 6 year-old Brandon Gueiner of Washington and 8 year-old Grant Prybil of Riverside both completed full pulls for their victories.

5 year-old Brody Koeh of North English pedaled 34 feet, five inches which was good for second place in his division.

As for the girls’ division, 8 year-old Sky Weber of Harper took the blue ribbon after pulling for 33 feet and six inches.
