Casey’s General Stores is expanding their presence in Washington.  Casey’s is purchasing 22 Kum & Go stores throughout the state of Iowa including the store on East Washington Street in Washington.  Casey’s President and CEO Robert J. Myers says rural communities in which the Kum & Go stores are located have proven to be a tremendous fit for their business model and are very excited to apply “our proprietary prepared food program.”

This acquisition is subject to certain regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.  The business deal is expected to be done by July and existing cash and cash flow will be used in the deal.
