Swimming season is here and Washington’s Steele Family Aquatic Center will be open just in time. Parks Superintendent Tim Widmer says they’ve tested the facilities chemical and heating systems and everything is a go.  Widmer says because school is did not run late this year they’re able to open this weekend and have it remain open all summer.

He says they will be open from 1:00 to 7:00 for their first two weeks and will be open until 8:00 every night after that.  Widmer adds the pool is available for pool parties from 8:00 to 10:00 pm if someone wishes to rent it out.  He says the prices are the same as last year.
