Three people suffered injuries in an accident in Washington.  The accident occurred at the intersection of Highways 1 and 92 on the west side of town at 1:23 p.m.  A vehicle was stopped waiting to turn left, and the vehicle coming up behind it was not able to stop.  The approaching vehicle swerved to the left, clipped the stopped car, crossed the center line and hit an oncoming car head on.  Names are not being released until the families are notified.

Those responding to the scene were Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Washington County Rescue, and the Washington Fire Department, and Washington County Ambulance transported the two injured drivers to Washington County Hospital.
