At approximately 8:00 A.M. today the Washington Fire Department received a report of a house fire at 1600 Country Club Road in Washington, the Robert and Krista Gaal residence. The house sustained considerable damage and the cause is still under investigation. Emergency personnel from Washington County Ambulance and the Washington Police Department also responded to the scene. The Red Cross has been contacted to assist the family.
