Washington City Hall wants to remind you that with snow coming soon, there are snow removal snow policies that need to be followed. Washington Building and Zoning Administrator Steve Donnolly says after snow or ice has stopped falling, the owner of the property has no more than 24 hours to remove it. He says if this policy is not followed, the city will give the owner a two day time frame to remove the snow or ice. Donnolly says after the two days, the city will remove the snow or ice and monetary damages will be charged and must be paid within 30 days. If you have any questions, contact Washington City Hall.
