The Washington County Communications Center reports receiving numerous 911 calls of a single vehicle rollover accident on Highway 218 south of Old White Way Road Sunday morning. Emergency units arrived on the scene and located a Black 1998 Ford Explorer driven by George Winland, 19 of Fairfield. Winland was transported by Washington County Ambulance to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Responding to the scene were the Ainsworth Fire Department, Ainsworth First Responders, Washington County Rescue, Washington County Ambulance, Iowa State Patrol and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. His condition is not known and charges are pending.
