The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks will be recognizing some of those involved in the replacement of their football bleachers on the visitor’s side. Mid-Prairie Athletic Director Don Showalter says the new bleachers were much needed. They previously had wooden bleachers that were very old. The new set are metal and seat a lot more spectators. The school was able to complete the upgrade thanks to help and donations including a grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. Those who were instrumental in the project will be recognized at the Mid-Prairie football game Friday night and will be presented with a plaque. The Golden Hawks will be hosting the 4th ranked Sigourney-Keota Cobras.
