The Demon volleyball team played host to Eddyville-Blakesburg. Washington played the Rockets very close in game one and the Demons went on a nice little run with some strong serves from Sydney Greiner, but the Rockets took the first 25-23. After that first game it seemed to take the wind out of the Demons’ sails as Eddyville won the next two 25-12 and 25-13. Washington Head Coach Jeff Spenner says the way they played in the first game shows the team’s potential. For Washington:
