The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk Booster Club will again be putting on basketball tournaments for young kids starting next month. The tournaments are held primarily in the winter Golden Hawk Boys Head Coach Don Showalter says it’s for kids 4th – 8th grade. He says even though the first tournament is a little over a month away, it doesn’t hurt to start thinking about registering now because they fill up fast. The money raised is used for equipment for the girls and boys basketball teams at Mid-Prairie.
