KCII reported last week that The 207 Night Club was successfully bringing local and out of state bands to Washington. But communication over liquor license policies with the state could put an end to the community of live music the venue has built.  207 owner Angela Jacobs says the club’s six month alcohol license expires Sunday, and the state didn’t tell her that businesses aren’t allowed another six month license.  Jacobs says the club must now apply for and purchase an eight or twelve month permit, which costs more money.  Co-owner Mike Jacobs says The 207 is holding a special concert to help stay open.  The concert starts tomorrow night at 9 and features jazz, funk and rock band “The Uniphonics” of Iowa City and Washington’s “Five In A Hand.”
