Hamakua Place Youth Center has a New Years Eve party for teens, young adults and families. They’ll have a band, testimonials, dancing, and fellowship followed by a meal. Center Director Deb Bodensteiner says they felt like they needed to provide a positive atmosphere without alcohol. Bodensteiner says a teen party will take place after the fellowship with games and an open mic. The teen party will go until 1am.
