For most, the holiday season is about joy and giving to others, but if you’re not careful, it can mean many aches and pains. During the season, many are baking non-stop, packing their cars for holiday road trips, and shopping until they drop. Washington County Hospital and Clinics Physical Therapist Andy Bishop says there are ways of preventing these pains from happening. He says when lifting, lift with your knees. He says stretching your neck and shoulders is also important when hovering over a stove or countertop, and try not to be in one position for too long.
